Ratings Information

In compliance with the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) voluntary rating system, we require all children under the age of 17 (16 and under) must have a parental guardian* for all "R" rated movies. If you appear to be under the age of 25, please be prepared to present a valid, state issued photo ID. For more information about our theatre's specific enforcement of the movie ratings, please visit our F.A.Q. page.
*We define a parental guardian as a parent or legal guardian. Older siblings, girl/boy friends, and friends are not considered parental guardians. We can not accept notes or phone calls for permission.

For the Official MPAA reason for a specific movie's rating, please check www.filmratings.com.

For a complete explaination of the ratings, please visit the Classification and Rating Administration (CARA) web site.

If you have a question about how we enforce the movie ratings, please use the Customer Communication Form.

If you require more complete and detailed information about a movie's content, Screenit.com offers a detailed break down of every questionable element of a film's content. Screenit.com is an independent site and is not affiliated with our theatres, the MPAA, or any of the movie studios.

Anyone under the age of 17 (or persons without id) must have a parent or adult guardian present at the time his or her ticket is purchased. For persons 12 or older, the parent or adult guardian is not required to view the film with the child. However, it is expected the parent or adult guardian will relate to the child that they will be expected to behave as a young adult at all times during their visit. If the theatre management needs to ask your child to leave the theatre at any time prior to the end of the show, a refund will only be issued to the parent or adult guardian at which time the manager will explain the reason for ejection.

Entering an auditorium without the properly issued ticket(s) will result in ejection from the building without a refund.

Purchasing a ticket for a lower rated (G, PG, or PG-13) film, then entering an auditorium showing a R rated film will result in ejection from the building without a refund.

Please retain your ticket stub until you leave the movie. This is your proof of admission. If you do not have your ticket stub, you may not be allowed to re-enter the movie.

If a question arises about a member of a group having a properly issued ticket, all members of the group may be asked to show their tickets stub. If any member of the group is not able to present the correct ticket, all members of the group may be ejected from the building without a refund.
